Marques obtained an LLB degree from UP in 2011and joined Serfontein Viljoen & Swart Attorneys in 2012 during his tenure of Articles of Clerkship wherafter he was admitted as an attorney in 2013 and practiced as such. Marques was then admitted as an Advocate in March 2017 and commenced with pupillage at the Pretoria Society of Advocates, he took up chambers in High Court Chambers from 2017 until 2019 whereafter he took up chambers at Vista Chambers.
Marques' experience ranges from general litigious matters which includes a keen interest in Employment Law and Criminal Law. He has appeared in High Court and Labour Court matters throughout the republic. He has acted as chairman in numerous disciplinary enquiries and represented trade unions and private institutions in the CCMA. He is extending his practice to commercial matters including insolvency law.
